Australian Solicitors Conduct Rules (ASCR) - Member Consultation
The Legal Profession Act 2006 provides that the Law Society Northern Territory (the Society) may make legal profession rules about legal practice in the Northern Territory.
The Society has issued a Consultation Paper calling for submissions in relation to:
• the adoption of the Australian Solicitors’ Conduct Rules; and
• the making of legal profession rules for Northern Territory Barristers.
Members of the profession are invited to consider the Consultation Paper and relevant documents below and provide comments and/or make a written submission to the Society about these rules.
Written submissions are due by cob Friday 13 September 2024.
