Where is the members only section of the Society website?
Go to www.lawsocietynt.asn.au
- On the left is a menu, roll your mouse over the menu and highlight For the profession - this will generate a drop down menu
- From the drop down menu select Membership and a further drop down list will appear
- From the drop down menu select Members only and a further drop down list will appear
- From the drop down menu select Members login
Once you have logged in you can go to the other parts of the members only section including AGM documents.
How do I access the Members only section?
You need to register on the website. Follow steps 1-3 above and from the drop down menu select register.
From there follow the prompts. You will receive an email advising you of your account details. Your membership will need to be confirmed by the administrator. This can only occur in office hours and may take 24 hours to process. You may then use your login.
What is my membership login and password?
When you register on the website an email is sent to you from This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.; on behalf of Law Society NT. You could try searching in your inbox.
This email will record your account details including your username and password. Records of usernames and passwords are not held by the Society. If you are unable to locate these details you can register again.
I don't have a record of my username and/or password what do I do?
You need to register to use the members only section. If you go to the members only login page enter your name and leave the password field blank you will be re-directed to a page that advises of an error and at the bottom of the page will be forgotten password forgotten login register.

What is my membership number?
Your membership number is contained in your practising certificate number. Your PC number is on the bottom right of your certificate. Ignore the letter prefix and the last two digits which should be 17 for the current year.
I have registered but my password isn't working
Please try again later. You will receive an email advising you of your account details but your account is not activated until your membership is confirmed by the administrator. This can only occur in office hours and may take 24 hours to process.You may then go back and use your login. If all else fails please contact the Society.
