The Society is delighted to announce that Professor Gino Dal Pont will provide the keynote presentation entitled “When Colleagues Go Rogue: Your Responsibility to Sound the Alarm?” to the profession at the OLY 2026 dinner in Darwin .

Gino Dal Pont is a Professor at the University of Tasmania’s Faculty of Law, and a graduate of the University of Michigan (LLM) and the University of Tasmania (LLD). His main areas of teaching target Legal Ethics and Equity & Trusts. Professor Dal Pont is the author of 19 books, including Lawyers’ Professional Responsibility (7th ed), Lawyer Discipline and the NSW Solicitors Manual, and is a regular ethics columnist. He is a Fellow of both the Australian Academy of Law and the College of Law, as well as being a CPA.

Professor Dal Pont having spent his entire academic career at the University of Tasmania, rising from tutor (in 1991) to Professor (in 2005).
