Lawyer - CAAFLU

Central Australian Aboriginal Family Legal Unit (CAAFLU) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (ACCO) providing a culturally appropriate, holistic, multidisciplinary, trauma-informed legal advocacy and support service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander victim-survivors of family violence and/or sexual assault.

CAAFLU is currently seeking a Lawyer to join our Tennant Creek team to provide legal advice and representation in our key areas of Domestic Violence Orders (DVOs), Victims of Crime Compensation, Child Protection and Family Law. You will be based in our Tennant Creek office with travel to remote communities nearby with our Client Service Officers and regular opportunities to work in the Alice Springs office. You will work with an experienced team offering a unique service.

Salary is based on experience and includes District Allowance. There are 6 weeks Annual Leave plus Christmas break. Salary Sacrifice package available including Remote Area Housing Benefit. Relocation assistance is also offered.
