NAAJA is recruiting to the Custody Notification Service (CNS) team in Darwin or Alice Springs. This is a full-time, 6 month fixed-term position.
The CNS is a 24 hour, 7 day a week legal advice and support line for Aboriginal people taken into custody.
In particular the position holder will service the CNS phone line for the shifts allocated during business hours, on weekends and out of hours.
The work requires high levels of motivation, autonomy, energy and a commitment to professional excellence.
The base salary is PSO3.1 $64,821 per annum.

The position will also receive penalty rates for the different shifts.
