Certificate of Fitness

To obtain a Certificate of Fitness (also known as a Certificate of Good Standing), a practitioner must provide a request in writing stating the following:

  • practitioner’s full name (as well as previous name, maiden name or married name);
  • date of admission to the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory; and
  • name and address of the regulatory body which the practitioner is applying to the admitted or to be granted a Practising Certificate.

COST

A Certificate of Fitness costs $162.00 including GST and the certificate will not be issued until the invoice has been paid.

The Society will only provide the original Certificate of Fitness response directly to the regulatory body specified by the applicant in the application form. A copy can be provided to the practitioner via email upon request.
