The Law Society Northern Territory (Society) congratulates Mr Ambrith Abayasekara on his recent appointment as Senior Counsel.

Mr Abayasekara’s appointment comes after many years of serving the Northern Territory community including as a Senior Public Defender at Legal Aid NT, during which he has demonstrated not only his passion for access to justice but his exceptional advocacy skills.

Society President Mr Richard Henschke said, “I congratulate Ambrith on his well-deserved appointment as Senior Counsel and look forward to him continuing to serve as a senior member of our local profession in the years to come.”
