Overview

Consider and discuss a number of hypothetical cases to identify the competing principles and challenge the application of ethics and logic which inform your decision making, then deliver and defend your resolution, followed by responses from the Chief Justice.

This seminar will assist you in adopting a structured approach to decision-making on ethical issues, and hopefully influence your current thinking in that context.

Presenter: The Honourable Chief Justice Michael Grant

Michael Grant was appointed Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory in July 2016. At the time of his appointment, he had held the position of Solicitor-General for the Northern Territory since September 2007.
