Jacqueline is the Territory's only Trade Mark Attorney and she is new to Darwin and at Ward Keller. Jacqueline has been practising in trade mark law in Australia for four years and in the general intellectual property (IP) field for eight in Australia and Malaysia. Jacqueline specialises in the protection, enforcement and defence of trade marks in Australia and overseas. Her experience includes advising local and international clients on trade mark matters, including preparing and filing trade mark applications in Australia and overseas.
Jacqueline works closely with other IP professionals such as patent attorneys and IP solicitors. In her previous role in Adelaide, she was a member of a China focused team which provides specialist filing and prosecution services for patents, trade marks and designs in China, as well strategic IP advice for that jurisdiction. Jacqueline's former clients include large International and Australian multinational corporations, public listed companies and Australian SMEs.
