The world of legal work is changing and in this change and pressure to become leaner, there are hazards for mental health and wellbeing and risk that some people can be left behind. Gruelling caseloads and work schedules, coupled with high expectations from clients, are among the pressures lawyers face daily.
Senior law partners like Trevor Edmond are looking at how to create a more supportive work environment by offering health and wellbeing programs and a more proactive approach towards mental health issues as part of its culture.
