Indigenous Community & Project Officer – TEWLS
The Top End Women’s Legal Service (TEWLS) is a small, non-profit community legal centre providing free legal advice, casework, advocacy and community legal education to women by women. We are seeking enthusiastic applicants who are keen to make a positive contribution to assist women in the Top End.
An exciting position exists at TEWLS for an Indigenous Community and Project Officer. The successful applicant will assist with our Indigenous Women’s Project by liaising with Aboriginal communities in the Darwin area, and helping to plan and deliver our services to those communities.
This position requires an organised and self-motivated person who has an understanding of Indigenous cultures and community dynamics. Indigenous Australians are strongly encouraged to apply.
The salary level will be Level 4 of the Social and Community Services Industry Award, depending on experience. Salary packaging is available.
